Atlantis Submarines
The world's first and most technologically advanced passenger submarine, takes you to the biggest attraction on Maui, 130 feet below the ocean. See fascinating natural coral reefs, fish, and marine life in air-conditioned comfort and safety. A 10-minute cruise on the Atlantis Shuttle vessel will take you to and from the tour site with panoramic views of several of the islands. At the tour site you will board the submarine vessel, which will take you down to the majestic natural coral reefs and Hawaiian marine life. From December through May, Atlantis guests may enjoy whale watching during the ship-to-shore journey.

Here, visitors can see spectacular live coral displays (the largest collection in the nation), marvel at elusive garden eels and majestic lionfish, muse at the colorful Hawaiian wrasse, enjoy playful swimming displays by Hawaii’s beloved green sea turtles and awe at close encounters with sharks, rays and more – while learning about Hawaii’s natural history and cultural heritage.
Maui Tropical Plantation
The narrated tram tour takes you past fields of tropical fruits and flowers, with plenty of great photo-op stops along the way. You'll see Hawaii's most popular crops as the tram rolls through our 60-acre working plantation: papaya, guava, mango, macadamia nuts, coffee, avocado, bananas, sugar cane, star fruit and more.
Hawaii Nature Center's Interactive Museum in Iao Valley
Visit the Interactive Nature Museum emphasizing the natural history of the Hawaiian Islands and the secrets of a Hawaiian Rainforest. Afterwards, hike some of the trails of the Iao Valley. Ten miles long and encompassing 4,000 acres, the Iao Valley is the eroded volcanic caldera of the West Maui Mountains. No other Hawaiian valley lets you go from seacoast to rainforest so easily. This peaceful valley, full of tropical plants, rainbows, waterfalls, swimming holes, and hiking trails, is a place of solitude, reflection, and escape. |
